What began as a hobby for paranormal enthusiats Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson (co-founders of The The-Atlantic-Paranormal-Society.com
aka TAPS) quickly became a national sensation. Since the series premiere of their hit show Ghost Hunters debuted on the SciFi channel on October 6th of 2004 they rapidly climbed to the top of the SciFi ratings chart.

Their method of investigating each case from the standpoint of skeptics out to debunk every claim of paranormal activity is refreshing. They have gained a large following due to their refusals to call a location haunted without signifigant proof of paranormal activity.

Promoted by the SciFi channel as 'Plumbers by day, paranormal investigations by night' the TAPS team has increased both in size and knowledge since they first began filming Ghost Hunters more than three years ago.

I feel that so far it is the best ghost program on TV! They look into every possability and seem serious about what they do. Them and Paranormal State are the only two that are worth watching. I do not like the gh international, they need to loose Brian! HE IS A JERK!(My opinion)

The show is no longer centered on the Paranormal, or de-bunking. The show now revolves entirely around Jason's HUGE ego & self-induced sense of importance! Grant is alright, but Steve is the analagous "Grasshopper" to Jason's "Master". The show sickens me! THANK HEAVENS we've been blessed with GHI!

The first couple seasons were good. Music during investigations always irritated me. Now I put it aside and wait for BSG on friday.

These guys are a joke. They help noone. All they do is set the study of the paranormal back 50 years.
